Cat6 patch cables - CCA

per page

Looking for Cat6 patch cables?

What is a Cat6 patch cable?

Cat6 patch cables are the successors of the old Cat5e standard. Both cables are Internet cables, but with a characteristic difference. The Cat5e cable is probably the more popular version, but not the most advanced. A Cat6 cable guarantees constant speeds of up to 1000 megabyte per second at throughput rates of up to 250 megahertz, while Cat5e cables are blocked at 100 megahertz.

What is the difference between UTP and SSTP?

In addition to the various cable categories, there are also different cable types for Internet cables, namely: UTP and SSTP. What exactly is the difference??

UTP 100% copper
A UTP cable is an unshielded type of cable. Without such shielding, the cable signal is susceptible to interference from COAX or power cables and other external factors.

SSTP:
An SSTP cable is a so-called shielded cable. The shielding consists of a wickerwork. In this way, the cable is protected against external interference such as COAX or line cables. Note: In order to maintain the shielding completely, shielded connectors and shielded flush-mounted sockets must be used.
